accredited embedded network manager
As Australia's first accredited Embedded Network Manager (ENM) with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), we can an assist embedded network operators with their compliance under the 'Power of Choice' reforms which came into effect from 1 December 2017.
What is an embedded network manager?
From 1 December 2017 there is a requirement within the National Electricity Rules (NER) for certain embedded networks to appoint an ENM who is accredited by AEMO.
The ENM function is a product of the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) reforms to improve access to retail competition for customers within embedded networks. The role of the ENM is to facilitate the coding and maintain information requirement for customers who exercise their right of choice.
Embedded Network Manager was the first organisation in Australia to receive AEMO's ENM accreditation on 23 October 2017.

‘Power of Choice’ Reforms
A market-wide energy reform program called ‘Power of Choice’ enables customers to choose between a wider range of services, giving them the information they need to choose the electricity services that suit them best.
For embedded network customers, these changes help promote competition by providing a choice between services from electricity retailers or from their embedded network operators.
The changes will require embedded network operators across Australia to not only understand the customers’ rights, but also in regards to assessing the profitability and feasibility of their network.
